Creative Work

Intern Direct Response

CREATIVE BRIEF

Client & Perception:

This concept is for employers in advertising & marketing who are recruiting interns.

What problem are you solving?:

Each year, agencies receive an overwhelming amount of applications. What can Algonquin students do to stand out amongst the other applicants?

Insight:

Agency workers can be anxious about hiring a new intern and want to feel confident that they’re choosing the right person for the job. Agency workers tend to have a lot of tabs open and often joke about it.

Audience and where you can find them:

Advertising and marketing professionals – creatives, strategists, account managers. and executives. They’re found on LinkedIn, Instagram and other industry-related platforms, scrolling between deadlines and pitch decks.

Creative territories:

Algonquin College students vs other students. Humorous storytelling that showcases Algonquin advertising and marcomms students are the perfect fit for an ideal intern.

Concept: Right Tabs, Right Intern.

Algonquin interns show up with the right tabs open—organized, focused, and ready to contribute. Because in a world full of chaos, you deserve someone who’s already on the right tabs.

The Agency Translator

Type in Motion

This assignment, I was tasked with creating a short motion graphic piece on Adobe After Effects that focuses on type animators, integrating other animation techniques and optional 3D motion. As you can see, I may have gone overboard with the 3D part.

AE Free Project

For my final Motion Graphics assignment, I was tasked to design/produce a 20-second or longer After Effects project using anything we’ve learned so far, plus anything we learned on our own.

Book Cover

For this project, I was to design a cover for a book I know well. Everything I did should have worked together to hint at what the book will deliver clearly, and it has to do that with force and intention.
